Introduction

As a teenager I escaped from a pedophile.  In San Francisco while on vacation, I got away from muggers.  During a trip through Red Bluff, California, two men were after our truck, trailer and car.  Somehow, I don’t think they were planning on sparing our lives. These events are just a few of my close calls with danger. 
I always felt that me being part American Indian has helped me avoid danger.  I use my intuition to sense trouble. 

I have traveled many times to Colombia, South America. On the 2003 State Departments website it said twenty-two Americans have been kidnapped including small children.  So it comes as no surprise that the U.S. State Department has issued a travel advisory against travel to Colombia.  But many Americans still live and work there for American companies.
