U.S. requiring a passport for re-entry
There is a federal proposal requiring all tourists to
carry a valid passport for re-entry into the U.S. A
driver’s license or birth certificate will no longer be
excepted within the next 2 ½ years. Beginning December
31, 2005 a passport will be required for the Caribbean,
Bermuda, and the Bahamas. Later Panama, Canada and
Mexico will be added to the requirement. |
